We are go!

A stunning morning greeted riders for the start of the Great Southern Brevet 2012. Lake Tekapo was mirror calm and blue skies above to match the water colour.

This morning in Lake Tekapo

After a briefing at the Lake Tekapo Community Hall, riders headed for the shoreline and the spectacular setting of the Church of the Good Shepherd with Lake Tekapo and the mountains behind as a backdrop. My photos do not do it justice!
