Another day, another 130km?

Day 2 has dawned with fine weather welcoming the riders on the Great Southern Brevet 2021.

How many breakfast is too many breakfast? Rob, Al and Cath enjoying breakfast number 2 for the day.

Riders are always adjusting their loads on their bikes to find a better place to stow this or stop that from rattling or rubbing. Marguita 'fettling'?

Lunch in the sun at St. Bathan's


In 1869 it would have been horses tied up outside the Vulcan Hotel in St. Bathan's. In 2021 it is bicycles!

No one tempted for a swim in the lake? Temperatures not quite normal for Central Otago so the riders give the Blue Lake at St. Bathan's a miss this time.
