Things heat up, 34 degrees that is!

Onto the ride proper and descending onto the gravel. No more high speed antics as the next 80kms is solid gravel grinding.

Hooge taking a breaking to wipe the sweat off his brow at the gate to Black Forest Road. A sultry 34 degrees!
The second obstacle of the day. Lifting your fully loaded bike over the locked gate.
Emma Lee Tait McCosh and Debbie Chambers disappearing into the hills above Lake Benmore.

Bill Brierley, I think that pedal should be attached to the bike. It works a lot better when it doesn't come off in your hand!
