With plenty of rain overnight and a forecast with light rain in the
morning, it was going to be cooler temperatures and perhaps even a bit
damp. However the forecast had the light rain lifting just after 10 am
and on cue the cloud rose a little and the rain stopped in time for the
riders depart.

With the enthusiasm only slightly dampened the riders prepared to head out.
