GSB 2014 Day Photos

A VERY big day again for many with a climb up to Tuohys Saddle and along the range to Crown Saddle. Something about "pushing" and false summits got frequent mention.

The weather and the views however compensated for the pain (well for most it did).  Massive 360 degree views of the high Central Otago ranges and an epic stage in every way.

When you reach the blue bit turn right and it just another 500 meters up ;-)

There may have been the odd section of bike pushing

Pushing should be rewarded with some sitting down

Smiling again, suspect it is because they don't have to sit on a bike seat for the next hour (Photo credit: Phil Wood)
